Did you know your body is….

  • Strong

  • Tough

  • Adaptable

  • Robust

In recovery, rest isn’t always the best way forwards, however progressive loading is! As the infographics below summarises, many of the body’s tissues will get stronger if they are subject to progressive loading.

The key word is progressive - Just like everything good in life, too much (and too fast) of loading isn’t necessarily the best thing. Progressively building on the foundation you have with each training session will ultimately lead to greatest success and recovery.
