What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a physical treatment that focuses on the science of movement to help clients restore, maintain and maximise their physical strength, function, motion and overall wellbeing.  Through patient centred care Physiotherapists diagnose, plan and manage a variety of health issues through movement, manual therapy, education and advice. 

About Mount Evelyn

The town of Mount Evelyn is located just 5km from Lilydale and has a lot to offer, including its historical points of interest, walking tracks, picnic facilities and cafes. Mount Evelyn was proclaimed in late 1848, however was originally known as Olinda Vale, the name was changed to Evelyn in 1907 and Mount Evelyn in 1919 to promote the town attractions and healthful mountain air which was at the highest point on the Lilydale to Warbatun Railway line. Although the station no longer operates, the stationmasters house still stands and operates as the community house and retaining wall of the platform still stands. These points can now be see on the Warbatun Trail, a walking, cycling and horse riding track that runs a distance of 38km from Lilydale to Warbatun, along the former Warbatun Railway Line. In addition to the Warbatun trail, Mount Evelyn also offers the Mount Evelyn Aqueduct Walk, a 6.4km trails that is a linear conservation reserve that follows the historic Mount Evelyn Aqueduct.
